Job description

XR Tech Design accelerates human-centric computing by building foundational XR AI technologies and experiences. Key role driving innovation across Reality Labs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a team of designers and leaders
  • Oversee team performance, health, resource allocation, and project prioritization
  • Cultivate healthy design process and contribute to organizational product strategy
  • Communicate product goals internally and externally
  • Stay current with industry trends in AI, VR, games, and 3D real-time tools
  • Champion creation and launch of new products in emerging spaces
  • Guide design and integration of cutting-edge XR AI technologies
  • Partner with engineering, product management, and research teams

    • Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years product design experience
  • 4+ years design leadership with direct reports
  • Experience building and shipping applications across multiple platforms
  • Experience with 3D art and visual design principles
  • Experience delivering 0-1 products from concept to launch
  • Experience managing complex, ambiguous projects
  • Experience managing managers
  • Experience with VR, AR, XR, and/or AI experiences
