Job description

This is a full-time role to be a Senior Product Designer, located onsite in New York, NY.

What You'll Do & Your Impact Timeline

Within your first week:

  • Platform, Figma files, and design system walkthrough from Founding Product Designer Anushriya
  • Coding environment setup (IDE, coding agent, MCPs)
  • Lead initial customer call for user insights
  • Deep dive into core platform module
  • Get up to speed on problem statement, ICP, value proposition, and roadmap

    • Within your first month:

  • Ship first major design project establishing quality standards
  • Create, document, and implement Hadrius Design System
  • Establish design rituals (critiques, user research cadence)
  • Become CTO's strategic partner on product direction

    • Within your first 3 months and beyond:

  • Own end-to-end design of complex 0-to-1 initiatives
  • Scale design function and lead hiring
  • Serve as primary customer voice in strategy
  • Raise product quality bar across company

    • About You

    The ideal candidate is a highly competent and seasoned designer demonstrating strategic, systems-level thinking and exceptional visual and interaction design skills. Additional qualities include strategic partnership, thriving in ambiguity, complete commitment, and strategic ownership of user experience impact.

    Qualifications

  • 6+ years professional product design experience with shipped complex products
  • Proven 0-to-1 product leadership or significant redesign experience
  • Design system building and maintenance expertise
  • Expert communication with engineers, executives, and customers
  • Deep Figma proficiency and modern design tool expertise
  • (Preferred) B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or fintech experience

    • Interview Process

    Stage 1: 20-minute introduction with CTO (Allen)

    Stage 2: 30-minute design culture fit discussion

    Stage 3: 2-3 hour onsite with cofounders, engineers, design team, and PMs
