# Senior Design Engineer @ Noise Labs

Noise defines how the world discovers and acts on what matters by creating a way to measure and trade attention — something the internet produces endlessly but no one has been able to objectively track. Noise creates a transparent, real-time market for attention itself, revealing what the world actually cares about as it changes. If it works, it becomes the standard for how relevance is measured.

We're a team of 10 based in SoHo, New York. Open to remote. We look for people with great taste who can ship code, design or convey user needs into delightful products.

Responsibilities

  • 2/3 design, 1/3 engineering, you lead with taste and ship with code
  • Own and ship design end-to-end: concept, prototype, production
  • Define and evolve the visual language across web and product surfaces
  • Build motion and interaction systems that feel intentional and alive
  • Work closely with engineers to ship pixel-perfect implementation
  • Know when to use the design system, when to break it, and when to evolve it
  • Maintain and extend design systems in Figma and code

    • Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in software design
  • Not a vibecoder
  • Comfortable delivering the right artifact at the right time: from Figma mockups to production code with Claude Code, Cursor, or v0
  • Delivers feedback with candor and takes it without ego
  • Strong design fundamentals and attention to detail: typography, layout, color, composition
  • Actionable taste for interaction details: motion, timing, affordance

    *Minimum full-time salary of $120,000-$210,000. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law. Full Time employees at Noise Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including equity and benefits, dependent on the position type.*
