Research Knowledge Manager

Location: Cardiff, London, or Remote (UK)

Employment Type: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract

Salary: £89,000 - £120,000 DOE + Benefits

About the Research Team

The Monzo research department comprises approximately 30 User Researchers embedded in cross-functional teams covering areas like Wealth and Borrowing products, plus a growing leadership team. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Research Operations Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly evaluate the research knowledge estate, including raw data, qualitative and quantitative research, reports, literature reviews, tooling, and repositories
  • Identify a scalable operating model for research knowledge management aligned with user needs
  • Create conditions for model success, including across future market expansion
  • Define data structuring, cataloguing, metadata, and taxonomy approaches for reusability
  • Plan updates to existing data
  • Identify and implement necessary tooling and integrations
  • Define rituals and cadences for shared understanding
  • Launch, support, and train users on the new system
  • Establish maintenance rituals and checks
  • Empower champion users to maintain the system and amplify research insights
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with user research or market research teams and existing repository structures
  • Background in archival work, librarianship, knowledge management, content design, or information architecture
  • Demonstrated experience automating knowledge workflows and integrating data streams
  • Experience leveraging LLMs and generative AI for knowledge structuring and surfacing
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities
