About the Team

The Growth team acquires, converts, and grows merchants globally across Stripe's product suite. The Growth Design team works on products that help new users understand Stripe's capabilities, create accounts, and discover products for the first time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reimagine pricing packages to simplify product offerings across the dashboard and funnel
  • Design experiences bridging marketing and dashboard products for new user onboarding
  • Create experiences helping users activate accounts and find appropriate products for their business
  • Reduce friction in new user onboarding to Stripe
  • Understand Stripe's product suite, customer needs, and AI/ML developments
  • Contribute across customer acquisition, conversion, and retention experiences
  • Champion design priorities in growth initiatives
  • Partner with engineering, product, research, and support teams
  • Participate in design reviews and share work with leadership
  • Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years design experience at tech/product-driven companies
  • Experience designing onboarding journeys or growth-related domains
  • Strong stakeholder alignment through written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work with significant autonomy and responsibility
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to simplify complex problems balancing flexibility, power, and ease of use
  • Deep curiosity and hands-on approach
  • A/B testing or data-driven design experience
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset supporting other designers
  • Service-oriented focus toward users and colleagues
  • Compensation & Benefits

    **Salary Range:** £112,800 - £169,200 annually (UK primary location)

    Benefits may include: equity, company bonus, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends (varies by location).

    Work Arrangements

    Office-assigned positions require at least 50% in-office time monthly. Remote positions require working 35+ miles from a Stripe office, with flexibility for occasional in-person meetings and events.
