Most designers spend their careers shaping pieces of something bigger. Every once in a while, a chance shows up to help create something from the ground up. A new category. A new interface. A new way people understand themselves.

Tangle is one of those chances.

We are reimagining time as a living story people grow into, not a set of hours they have to manage. It is a tool for meaning that helps people plan with intention, capture the reality of their days, and see the deeper threads that shape their life.

The product is live and real people are using it. We are entering the stage that defines a product's future. This is where we discover the mechanic people return for and where we learn what drives product-market fit and long-term growth.

You will work closely with Evan Sharp, Biz Stone, and a small team of builders who care deeply about creating something that lasts.

In this role, you will:

• Invent a new lifetime interface: Rethink how humans see and shape their lives across linear, cyclical and narrative time.
• Shape product-market fit: Work where the most important decisions are made. Prototype quickly. Test often. Learn from real people.
• Design the daily experience: Create features and flows that become part of people's emotional routines.
• Prototype the future: Translate fuzzy concepts into clear, elegant user experiences.
• Ship the soul: Collaborate closely with world-class engineers.

What we're looking for:

• Product design: Strong product instincts for high-impact consumer experiences.
• Interaction design: Simplify complexity into clear, intuitive flows.
• Motion design: Use motion to guide understanding and create feeling.
• Visual design: Taste and intention in every detail.
• Typography: Voice, rhythm and clarity.

Location: Full-time. Based in San Francisco (Presidio) or remote with periodic travel for seasonal gatherings.
