Staff Product Design Engineer

Location: Hybrid - San Francisco, California

What You Will Do

  • Mechanical design and development of cutting-edge wearable and consumer devices
  • Drive product development with manufacturing partners across Asia, North America, and Europe
  • Build prototypes, test them, and iterate quickly
  • Work with leadership on product roadmap and timelines

    • Requirements

  • 10+ years as a consumer product design engineer, preferably with wearables experience
  • Independent judgment in engineering methods and evaluation
  • 3D CAD expertise (NX or Solidworks) for densely packaged electronics including PCBs, flexes, antennas, enclosures, mechanisms, and batteries
  • Rapid prototyping ability with standard test equipment
  • Materials science and scalable manufacturing knowledge
  • Problem-solving comfort with ambiguity
  • Technical leadership and mentoring capability
  • Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

    • Compensation & Benefits

    Salary (San Francisco): $198,000 - $233,000
